1. Sharing

    September 26, 2010 by accidentalfish

One of the most important parts of the software design process is showing, sharing and talking about your user interface with all kinds of people: customers, developers, designers, management, and on and on.

With that in mind MockingPad puts a lot of emphasis on making it easy to share your wireframes. Output formats include:

    • MockingPad’s native format – for sharing with other people who own MockingPad.
    • HTML
    • SVG (Inkscape and Illustrator compatible)

And you can get access to these assets (export for all formats, import of native format) by:

    • Email
    • Web browser (your iPad becomes a web server accessible on your WiFi network from where you view the HTML and download all the output formats in zip files)
    • DropBox

MockingPad is entering beta shortly, if you’d like to take part in the beta trial then please let me know via the comments. You will, of course, need an iPad and all active beta participants will get a free copy of the final release.
